About Michael Cho

American Immigration Lawyers Association     Los Angeles County Bar Association     State Bar of California     University of Chicago Law School

I am a licensed attorney and represent clients on a world-wide basis in the field of U.S. Immigration, Nationality, and Consular Law.  I frequently deal with the USCIS, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as well as American embassies and consulates  on behalf of my clients.

I received my Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School, where I studied law directly under distinguished scholars such as Professor Barack Obama, formerly President of the United States of America.  I also completed concurrent coursework at the University of Chicago’s Department of Computer Science.  I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College, graduating with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa academic honors.

I have successfully represented international couples and growing businesses in all of their immigration needs for the past 17+ years.   Early in my career, I served as a law clerk with the Criminal Division of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and helped prosecute felony and misdemeanor offenders.  I also served clerkships with the United States Department of Justice and the Criminal Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court.  In the private sector, I worked in product management with emerging technology companies based in Silicon Valley.

I am admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and The United States District Court for the Central District of California.  I am also a member of leading legal and professional organizations that include the State Bar of California, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
